Decorating the blog

It's about time....

Over the next few days I'll be trying different looks for this blog. So forgive me if it looks a total mess, I'm decorating! Your comments on how hideous I am making this place look are welcome too :D

(thank you Gabby for giving me the links for the backgrounds)

If you need more templates for blogger this is the right place:

http://btemplates.com/

They've got a huge amount of cool themes (I'm using one for my own blog too). ^_^

Thanks Rack, those templates are really cool.

Blogger is now coming up with error codes everytime I try to change it so I give up for now.

I saw the templates from de btemplates site and the "Isabela" one is a pretty one for this blog.

yes there are so many lovely ones on that site. I'm having a total nightmare now, everytime I try out a new template i get an error msg, but the html is working fine on my test blog. Now I've lost all my widgets from this one too. All the store/blog links/comments box and everything. I'd had backed up the previous template too but now they've all gone when I upload it again *cries*

You know when you wish you hadn't started something? LOL

I got error messages too, but only when I was using firefox to update my template. Also, you have to go to "Edit Layout", "Edit HTML" and then "Upload a template from a file on your hard drive". It doesn't work if you just cut and paste the code.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Rack, I'm doing it the way you describe and it did work at first, but for some reason now it is giving me error codes when upload the HTML code. The same codes are working just fine on my test blog and it's using the new blogger template format too, so I just don't understand :/

I'm going nuts with it now LOL

Did you revert back to default template? blogger switched to a new form of template last year... the are now suing a ifferent form of html code which does not reconigzed the codes from the templates made under the old system. :) you have to click the option under the text box in the template page...
hope this helps :D
